Alberta Independent Cannabis Cooperative (AICC) is established to bring Alberta's independent cannabis producers, retailers and industry participants together.
Through collaboration, member engagement and advocacy, AICC provides a forum to identify shared priorities and engage with government and other stakeholders on matters affecting its members.
Advocate for policies and a regulatory environment that strengthen the Alberta advantage and create opportunities for independent Alberta cannabis producers and retailers to compete, invest and grow.
Advocate for greater industry participation and ownership in the means of cannabis distribution, with the goal of creating a distribution model that better serves Alberta’s independent producers and retailers.
Advocate for appropriate caps on the number of cannabis retail stores that can be owned or controlled by a single retail operator, as well as consideration of a cap on the total number of retail cannabis stores operating in Alberta.
